FROM THE CEO: WHY BWHA?
For over 20+ years, I've been dedicated to serving my community through various non-profits such as The Urban League, Seattle Debate Foundation, and Denise Louie Education Center. Currently, I hold the position of Director at Black Women Housing Alliance, am a certified Life Coach, and the CEO of two emerging Black-owned businesses—Tiffany's Heart Coaching & Mentoring Services and Your Family Kitchen Food Services.
Our focus at Your Family Kitchen is to provide healthier grab-and-go meals, steering clear of the unhealthy commercial products that flood the market. This initiative aims to cater to the needs of our elderly, children, and families with hectic schedules due to life's demands.
Transitioning into small business ownership was a deliberate choice for me, driven by a desire to make a direct impact within my community. My deep passion lies in serving and supporting the underserved and commonly misunderstood individuals. By dedicating my time, offering coaching/mentoring services, and sharing educational resources, I aim to contribute to the growth and redevelopment of our communities in a holistic manner.
I believe in a more holistic approach to community development, nurturing growth and thriving from the inside out. It's amazing what can be achieved with a helping hand. Just like a grain of sand causing ripples in the ocean, I see myself as that grain, and you can be too, as we work together to rebuild a healthier and better community for us all!
